Historic Venclauskiai House

These schemes represent digital reconstruction of painted walls in a historic house, where I am working on a wall restoration project. They serve as visual documentation and as a basis to create laser-cut stencils, which are used for the reconstruction of destroyed areas where the original wall paintings are generally lost. This project shows that digital tools can simultaneously aid the conceptual understanding of the final result, as well as facilitate the restoration process itself.

Working on these schemes enabled me to envision the final reconstructions long before their completion. This was very satisfying.
